This is a fun hockey night light with an image by talented artist Michelle Palmer. This image lights up beautifully when lit and is perfect for any room in the house. This light makes a very unique gift and perfect as a stocking stuffer, office gift, or grab bag gift. Photographic image is printed in the USA using high quality inks and is very colorful. **PLEASE NOTE** Unlike cheaper night lights, the light bulb on these decorative lights are fully enclosed! No more seeing an exposed bulb when looking at the night light from the side. You’ll love the richness of the light as it provides you with both safety and improved visual attractiveness. All night lights sold on Amazon are available with either incandescent or LED bulbs. There are separate listings for each bulb type. This is an extremely well built and solid unit!. Please visit our Night Light Designs Storefront on Amazon for our full selection of photo night lights!

O Canada Day

O Canada Day
Many of the hydroplanes who competed in the 2010 Syracuse Hydrofest a couple of weeks ago crossed the border from Canada by way of Niagara Falls, 1000 Islands Bridge and Ogdensburg, New York. Considering the distance and economy, I was surprised at all the license plates from Ontario and Quebec.

I got a deja vue feeling as instructions to the drivers was given in both French and English remembering all the Hockey Night in Canada broadcasts from the old Montreal Forum I watched growing up. Where my favorite NHL hockey team, the Montreal Canadiens, played to many Stanley Cup championships during the 1960s and 70s. There, the Forum’s public announcer announced everything in French first before repeating it in English.

As today is Canada Day for our neighbor to the North, I salute them and am proud to have many Canadian friends.

Yesterday, I was hired by the CBC to make up their anchormen for the Pennguin’s/Ottawa game at Mellon Arena. Sadly, we lost, but it was very cool to be on ice level, right behind our goalie to watch the game!
